Desert Sunset ~ Winter is a video installation intended to bring the outside in. Conceived as an investigation of how natural outdoor spaces can be applied to internal spaces, the video is displayed on all four walls simultaneously but out of sync. Upon viewing one vista, the viewer's peripheral vision also absorbs the scenes from the adjacent two walls. It is an environment intended to immerse us and increase our awareness of the colors, tones and light of a winter evening in the desert.
