Intimations is a public installation intended for a quiet, but public space. A hint of an image defines an alcove or corner of a common area and evokes a more intimate, home-like environment. The subtle quality of the image - an intricately designed and carved antique teak screen - elicits individual and small group contemplation and reflection. Intended to compliment but not compete with the interior design of the space, Intimations offers a soothing respite that may not be consciously noted, but is deeply felt.
